Here's a little girl who wants to be brave and tries so hard but she's still a little worried about what's going on.  The last thing she knew, she was a stray, trying to survive on the streets and then suddenly got scooped up and landed with Adopt A Stray.

Shalimar has come a long way in the last month - from a terrified kitten to a sweet, playful and loving little girl.  She will initially be timid in new surroundings until she adjusts and trusts you and then she becomes a purr monstress.

She has a calm and quiet personality.  She typically doesn't call attention to herself and would not dream of begging for attention, but once you come to her, she melts for love and petting. She is really the perfect combination of being playful at times but is more than content to cuddle as well.  She gets along with all the other cats in her foster home and they all love her in return.

She doesn't know what the future holds for her but she sure hopes it will include a real home and someone special to love.  Shalimar is like a hidden treasure and you will be pleasantly surprised at the gem that lies within.
