Omo was found at just a few days old  with no mother in sight.  Fortunately,  a mom cat already in Adopt A Stray's care willingly added him to her family of 5 orange tabbies.  In a family of orange tabbies he was definitely "odd man out"  aka Omo.

From day one, Omo stood out, not just because of his adorable back and white markings but also because of his personality.   Omo was 2 weeks younger than the other kittens but learned to hold his own early.  He would sneak under all the other kitties to nurse on mom and if that didn't work he would fight for the nipple he wanted.   As he got a little older, he would watch his littermates play and try to imitate them.  Of course he wasn't nearly as coordinated yet, but that didn't stop him from trying.

Omo has a big purr, a playful attitude and the cutest little personality ever.  He is an amazing little guy who will make you laugh every day.  When he's worn himself out playing, he loves to sit in a lap or on a shoulder.  He is one of those cats who can't seem to get close enough to you or love you enough when he crawls on your lap.  He cuddles and head butts and then rolls all his back for a tummy rub and then don't be surprised if Omo treats you like his personal kitty sidewalk.  He'll walk up your chest to one shoulder, behind your neck to the other shoulder ( giving you a few head butts and kisses along the way) and then back down to your lap.   He especially likes to sit on your chest and give you little sandpaper kisses on your face.

You can't help but smile at Omo, his antics are so cute.  He seems to enjoy making you laugh and steps up his antics.   For some reason he always runs into the bathroom with you.   Sit down and his little feet may be on your knees and looking up at you pitifully, like he hasn't been petted for days.....or he may jump in the sink and roll on his back.   He also likes watching a bath.  He even jumped in once as the tub was filling!!  He sits on the edge of  tub and purrs (it really makes for the most relaxing bath ever).

He's naturally curious and not picky about his toys.  He will play with anything -  aluminum foil balls, a crumpled up piece of paper, toy mice, kickeroos, feather toys, the tails of the adult cats - almost anything.  He likes to carry some of his toys around in his mouth from one place to another, and occasionally picks up a piece of rope and drags it around with him.

Obviously Omo got along with his siblings, but he also gets along with all the adult cats in the house, respecting their individual quirks and not bothering the ones who don't want to be bothered.  He would love to go to a home with another cat, but would also be fine as a single.
