This supreme, handsome  little beast was taken away from his brother and then left outside by his "dis"loyal human companions. Way too friendly and attention-seeking, the harder side to outdoor living would be too dangerous for him. He was fairly beat up by the time he had his vet field trip, but he is in good standing now. Falco is a one of a kind kind of guy. He definitely will want to be the center of your Universe...as he well should be. Falco kinda likes to be the Top Cat in the house so he gets along best with other cats that are pretty laid back and don't really care about being in charge. He has a confident, little bit alpha personality. He would be perfectly happy to be your only kitty and asks that there definitely be NOOO dogs!  Lots of love and kisses and a warm open-heart for this little man. Did we mention plenty of attention..

Falco has been adopted twice and, we are sad to say, returned twice the next day! As confident as this handsome boy is, we all have our insecurities and each time he was in a new home, he cried a good bit the first night. He was not given a second night's chance either time. Anyone who has had more than a cat or 2 knows that all cats react differently to a case of the nerves. Some might hide (maybe for weeks!). Others will become hissy and aggressive to try to fool their imagined enemies into thinking they are brave instead of afraid! And still others will become quite vocal - either during the day or during the night - usually when they find themselves alone. The most likely remedy for any of these cases is ATTENTION - calm, quiet, playful, periodic or constant LOVE and attention - whatever a particular kitty needs to get its confidence back -  which will happen with a little time, love and understanding.

Falco is a favorite of most of the Adopt A Stray volunteers and the customers who go to PetSmart just to visit and get their kitty-fix! He really is an exceptionally cool-cat! If you live in a condo with thin walls or you are concerned about losing a little sleep the first night or two, he might not be the right cat for you. Just know that his slight  lapse in confidence and his crying would never be an intentional act to bother his new family. More likely a need to know that he is finally in a safe, loving, permanent home and once he feels secure he will reward you grandly with PURRS and unconditional LOVE and COMPANIONSHIP for years to come!! Come on over to the Aventura PetSmart for a meet and greet. Come on over 2 or 3 times if you need to to get to know him. Falco will win your heart and we know that there is the perfect home out there for him. We hate that he missed out on 2 homes already but we know him better now and we believe that the 3rd time's the charm and he is ready!
