Adoption Pending!! Great News for Baby

When foster home space is available, Adopt A Stray rescues animals from high kill shelters. An Adopt A Stray volunteer had arranged to rescue one dog but when she arrived to pick up the dog, the volunteers at the shelter brought out Baby instead. Baby was not the dog they came for; somehow the ID numbers of the two dogs got switched.
 
Baby was sick and would have been euthanized, so Adopt A Stray immediately arranged to rescue two dogs rather than one.

Fortunately Baby's illness is not serious. He has a cold and once he is 100% over it, he will be ready to be neutered and then available for adoption.

 

Baby is one year old and full grown at 25 lbs. He is an absolute love: affectionate, playful, eager to please, a quick learner, good with other dogs and good with cats......a perfect family dog!!. 

Although Baby will probably not be available for adoption until the beginning of March we are accepting applications and can make arrangements for you to meet him with an approved application.
