Faith had 7 tiny 3 day old kittens when her owner left them at a high-kill shelter. Mama cats can save their babies from a lot of dangers - storms, heat, other animals - moving them when necessary to keep them safe - but what is she supposed to do when there is no where to go, her babies eyes aren't even open yet and their time is running out fast? Luckily, Adopt A Stray found out about them just in time and gave them another chance.

Faith has been the most incredible, LOVING mom. She has been patient and nurturing - never showing any impatience - even with seven growing kittens always wanting attention. She has raised her beautiful babies and it is time for her to get to relax and enjoy the good life! Faith loves people almost as much as she has loved being a mom. She is a sweet, affectionate companion that is looking forward to being part of a family that will want to keep her forever!

Update: Faith has stayed with her kittens in her foster home until recently but when they turned 5 months old and still wanted to nurse - and she is so sweet and maternal that she let them - it was time to separate them. Leaving her kittens and being put with the other adults has been a little hard on her and taking her to PetSmart on the week ends puts her in a bit of a depression. It is a little sad to see this SWEET cat that has been through so much still having to adjust to more changes that will not be permanent. As they all do, she really deserves her own home with a family to love that will love her in return - a family she will hopefully be a part of and precious to for the rest of her life. The vet that spayed her thinks she is only about a year or so so she should be a wonderful companion for some one or some family for many years. She would be perfectly happy to be your one and only but, giving a little time, would adjust to other pets, too. Faith is young, friendly and affectionate. If you take the time to meet her, you will be glad you did.

Faith's kittens turned 5 months old on Aug 5. If you would be interested in adopting Faith with one of her kittens, the ones that have not been adopted are Boca, Murphy, Sgt. Pepper, Willa & Parker.
