Kenya is a LOVABLE little girl who is happy to have a second chance at life and looking for an active family to enjoy lots of FUN TIMES with. She adores children and would be a  wonderful addition to a family with kids. If you already have a dog or 2 - no problem!! Kenya gets along with large dogs - small dogs - male dogs - female dogs -  whatever you've got!! If your dog wants a friend, Kenya would be perfect! 

 

It seems obvious that Kenya used to have a home - probably with children but, like so many other pets, ended up on the streets alone and starving. It looked like her last days were going to be spent in a high-kill shelter where her chances of getting a new home had come to an end. Adopt A Stray rescued her from there just as her time had run out and now she is looking for a LOVING dependable family to spend the rest of her life with. In return, she promises UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and constant companionship. Her new family will also be blessed with hours of laughter, ball games, Frisbee playing and times of calm, gentle understanding when you need it most.

 

Kenya is only about a year old. She is still a puppy at heart but has outgrown the difficult puppy stages.

Her foster mom says that she has not had any accidents in the house or chewed anything. She is very happy and active and needs a family that will give her lots of attention and help her get the exercise that every young dog needs. She loves to be on a leash and go for long walks but she also needs a yard to run around in sometimes where she doesn't have to be on a leash. The more exercise a dog gets, the better behaved they will be. Kenya needs a family that will play with her and work with her on basic obedience.    She is a smart girl and wants to learn and with a little attention and patience from her new family, Kenya willsettle quickly into her new home.
