Birthdate: April 2021

Meet Tag, an adult cat who defines resilience. His sweet nature, coupled with his bravery, makes him a unique companion. Tag is a gentle soul, always ready to share his warmth with those around him. His friendly demeanor is infectious, making him a favorite amongst the volunteers. Not only is Tag a survivor, but he's also incredibly smart. He has a knack for figuring out puzzles, which keeps his mind sharp and active. This brave and gentle soul is looking for a forever home. Tag's sweetness and intelligence make him the perfect addition to any family looking for a loyal and loving friend.

History:

Tagala “Tag” was being fed by several neighbors in Miami, he just appeared one day. He was incredibly friendly, but they couldn’t help notice his eyes. They were mostly kept shut and he had an infection in both eyes, eventually it was in his nose too. 

Adopt A Stray was contacted and a foster took him in. She knew right away that he needed a specialist, an ophthalmologist. As it turned out he has a condition known as Entropian (the eyelids fold inward, both eyes, upper and lower). It’s very painful…just imagine eyelashes in your eyes 24/7. He’s pain free now!

Now about his personality, Tag is extremely lovable, affectionate…a true lap cat. He is almost 12 pounds of cuddly love. Tag gets along with cats, dogs, but would be perfectly happy to be the only one.

Tag will sit on you and head butt your hand so he’ll get petted and loved. Tag will sit on your lap for hours if you let him. This is not a Tag will sit on your lap for hours if you let him. This is not a cat for you if you were looking for an aloof and unaffectionate cat, he is going to want to be in intricate part of your life. 

 Tag loves a very soft blanket, he will bury his little face in it, and purr and knead for 20 to 30 minutes, happy as can be!
