Keebler is a gorgeous black and white Maine coon mix, born 7/24/16. She has the typical Maine coon personality, sweet, calm (as calm as a kitten can be)!

Her background:

She was "rescued" from a terrible hoarding situation. The person who "rescued" her believed she was  taking her from a doomed life of what hoarders provide or try to provide.  She was taken from a deplorable hoarding situation, to a cage in a dark garage where she was fed and cared for once a day for three weeks. In the garage we're three other young kittens. There was no running, no playing, no interaction with other kittens, no light, no attention or love except for the once a day visit. The owner of the garage gave 4 day notice to remove the cats. Lucky for Keebler!!!

Keebler now:

The first few days in her new foster home Keebler was a little shy and somewhat timid. Well that didn't last long, her sweet intense personality came out. She does like to play like kittens play, but what she really loves is a really good lap. Keebler would be happy spending most of her day cuddled up on your lap. Her foster mom does work on her computer, watches TV and Keebler manipulates her body so that she is always in contact with her foster mom. Keebler gets along well with other cats and kittens, dogs as well.

You can meet this wonderful kitty most Saturdays at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart between 12 and 6 pm.
