Due to COVID-19 we are currently modifying our adoption process in order to safeguard exposure to the virus, all our cats are in foster homes. If the pet is available, and your Adoption Application is approved or being considered, an AAS representative will call you.
Birthdate January 2010. The cutest little three-week old calico kitten was found without littermates and without a mother. Unfortunately this is not a story about an adorable kitten finding her forever home. Although affectionate and friendly in her foster home, Chiclet was misearable when she was put on display in a cage for Petsmart adoption events. On top of that, Chiclet has a kitty form of alopecia (hair loss) that displays itself when Chiclet is under extreme stress. Therefore, Chiclet stayed in her foster home as the other kitties went to get adopted.
Chiclet update: Chiclet is nothing like her old write up in terms of having any neurological problems or any hair loss. That's all behind her now! She is the most adorable, quirky, fun loving cat. She loves to scoot around the house at fast speeds and flies up the cat condo as if she was a six month old kitten. Chiclet is fostered in a multiple cat home with two large dogs and lives in peace with them. She always uses the scratching post. Who could ask for more?!?!
You can meet Chiclet by appointment with an approved application.
